We came home one rainy night...

...in the Ford to discover that someone had vandalized the TEKSAN (before the namechange to TEXZAN).  They scratched every body panel, including the gas cap.  We took it to the USAA insurance people and they estimated the damage to be $2300.  We wanted the paint to be as good as new.  We took it to the best shop in the DC metro area, Wagon Work in Alexandria, VA (3406 Jefferson-Davis hwy 703-684-2985).  They do the best work, but they also charge the most money!  Luckily, USAA sent the check for the additional $2700 within two weeks.  Curious to how the process works, we dropped off a disposable camera with the car and the guys there were good enough to finish the roll.  Enjoy.

We spent a little extra to have all of the stone chips smoothed out, which included chemically stripping the hood...
